Who I am

Hi, I’m Helly - an independent midwife supporting families across Norfolk and Suffolk.

I became a midwife because I wanted to advocate for birthing people and support them to make informed, evidence-based decisions about their care. Pregnancy, birth and early parenthood are powerful, life-changing experiences, and everyone deserves to feel heard, respected and supported throughout their journey.

My approach to midwifery is inclusive, trauma-informed and person-centred.

Being supported by me means you get care that respects differences in communication, sensory needs, identity, autonomy and informed choice. I strive to create calm, supportive spaces where you feel safe asking questions, exploring your choices and moving at your own pace.

Where I work & the care I offer

I provide independent midwifery care across Norfolk and Suffolk, including Norwich, North Norfolk, coastal communities, Thetford, Great Yarmouth and Ipswich.
